I believe that music and song are the highest forms of spirituality. It doesn't matter what you believe or where you come from, music unites us and reminds us what it means to be human. When I first started writing songs and poems I would often gift them to my friends as a way to show my love and gratitude. As I grew as a songwriter I noticed it was a therapeutic practice that left me feeling more empowered and confident. It's a way for me to be empathetic towards myself, a way to tell a story, a form of emotional release in a world that doesn't always understand creative beings.
In 2019 I began offering songs as a service to clients, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

"I commissioned Jamie to write a song about Paws for Reflection Ranch. Paws is a not-for-profit therapeutic ranch that serves anybody in need. The ranch has a magical energy and I wanted to share that with others. My goal wasn't for this song to be a story about the ranch, but rather to capture it's energy and include subtle details that people familiar with it would recognize. We visited with ranch founders Stan & Melode and all of the incredible therapeutic animals. Jamie fully connected with the ranch magic… she immediately resonated with Melode’s energy and bonded with the animals through her own energy and music. This resulted in Jamie writing an incredibly beautiful song which perfectly captured my vision.
It transcends the ranch and defines a life journey. Jamie is an amazing artist and I couldn’t be happier!" |
